Having sourced the best quality raw materials we turn, dye and finish our buttons using traditional techniques and patterns taken from the heritage archives we acquired when James Grove & Sons went down in 2012.
This is a huge task given that there are many thousand button samples and dies in our collection, but we are making progress. In fact, we started in late 2016 with a single pattern (Cornbury 965), 5 standard sizes (24L, 28L, 32L, 36L and 40L) and a single material; Corozo. But this has very rapidly increased.
By June 2018 we are now making Corozo buttons in 4 patterns (see the drop-down box) and are about to release a new style, the 564 pattern, which was one of James Grove’s signature patterns.
In addition, we have launched 18L shirt buttons in no less than 5 patterns not only in Corozo, but in Codelite®, too.
Just in time for the autumn season, we are now also in the process of making up 44L (28mm) coat buttons for the very first time.
We aim to maintain stocks in the most popular colours, sizes, patterns as much as we can so that orders can be sent out directly. Our MOQs are just 300/pattern/size/colour, but we also supply buttons in their thousands to our larger customers. If we don’t have the button(s) you need in stock, however, we’ll make or finish them from the inventory of blanks or unfinished turned stock we maintain. This normally takes around 10-14 days from the date of order.
We do our best to keep our website up-to-date with the buttons we have in stock, so please start by following the links below. But do drop us a line or call us if you’d like more specific information on stock, quantities, sizes, finishes, etc or wish to request some samples.
Do remember, we are constantly expanding our range – whether it's by adding patterns, colours, sizes or materials! So, do keep in touch.
