These terms of business are to protect and clarify the legal rights of our customers as well as the company.
This website, found under the www.courtneyandco.uk URL, is operated by PanAgora Trading (trading as Courtney & Co.) and references to “we”, “us”, “our” and “the company” shall be deemed to be referenced to PanAgora Trading Limited (trading as Courtney & Co). References to “you”, “your” “customer” and “client” shall be deemed to be referenced to the person or company placing an order.
Please read through these terms and conditions carefully before placing your order. By using this website and/or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Please also read our privacy statement regarding personal information provided by you. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received. Once your order has entered our dispatching process, we will not be able to make any changes.
Our products are made from natural materials and, small imperfections / differences in shape, size and colour can happen and are part of the charm of our products. Using natural materials is what makes our products unique and should not be seen as a fault. They will never affect the overall aesthetic of the product and its ability for use as intended.
It is the customers or their agent’s responsibility to check that they have received the correct design and colour before using the product or handing it to any third party for processing. Mistakes in labelling can happen.
All orders are dealt with on an individual basis. We are unable to supply any goods on a sale or return basis and all orders are accepted on receipt of full payment by pro forma. We accept Visa and MasterCard although there is a 2.5% additional payment charge to use this service. All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
As our products are made from natural materials colour matching and reproduction is a close representation and every batch is individual and variations in actual goods may occur. We cannot accept any responsibility for these minor variations. Our buttons are made from natural products and may thus have natural characteristics and other irregularities, which are not faults and therefore not considered faults by us as a company.
Our quality control procedures are nonetheless designed to identify and reject buttons which are sub-standard. If, for any reason, our QC efforts fail to remove those buttons which are materially flawed we will replace them as closely as possible.
Cancelling an order
Whilst every effort will be made to accept an order cancellation, this can only happen if the cancellation is made prior to dispatch.
For bespoke products, cancellation is not possible if the product has already gone into production.
All cancellations should be made in writing and confirmed by us by return.
Returns cannot be accepted unless by prior agreement.
All faults or damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt of delivery.
Fit for Purpose; the customer must satisfy themselves that any product supplied by the Company is fit for purpose for which the customer purchases it for.
Information for overseas customers
All our prices are in UK Sterling.The actual price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer's credit or debit card Company. Customers outside the United Kingdom will also be liable for any import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. You are advised to check the latest applicable local requirements before placing an order.
Accuracy of Content
Every care has been taken in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices are correct at the time of publishing. The total cost of your order will be set out in the payment options of this website or within your pro-forma invoice. While the colour reproduction is a close representation, products may vary from the images shown and can be dependent on screen colour calibration.
A quotation for postage or shipping, outside the UK mainland, can be provided prior to ordering and must be agreed in writing before we can accept your order.
Please note that customers outside the United Kingdom will also be liable for any import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements.

Exact costs of postage and packaging will be provided at the time of ordering.
Please note, any damages to your order must be notified to us within 72 hours of receipt via email or writing. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us immediately. Please note that the postage and packing charge is non-refundable and we are unable to refund the cost of returning unsuitable items or cancelled orders. This does not affect your statutory rights.
